*Is there anywhere I can view more of the finished sentimental gifts books or find out more about the creation process
* How long does it take?
The total length of time depends on how long it takes for you to send me your photographs (by email) and materials (if any )via real mail. Once I have your materials, it takes approximately two weeks, plus two days for packing and parcel pickup it is then in the hands of the postal services .
* I'm local. Do I still have to pay for shipping?
If you are in the Niagara area, you can drop off your materials and pick up the finished piece in-person.
*What are the shipping costs......by default I ship in the cheapest catagory that will allow your gift book to arrive by your chosen date (usually small parcel post) approx $15.00 to most places in North America but some special orders are heavier so will cost more but you will be supplied with a detailed shipping estimate before purchase.
* Cost covers shipping and packing materials.
* Other shipping options are available by request.
* Shipping cost may vary if you have extra-heavy materials.
* Can I send you my own ribbon, flowers, etc.?
Of course! You'll see that there's a place in the order form (near the bottom) for custom gift books where you can specify that you want to use your own memorabilia. While this is a great way to make the gift book even more personal to its recipient also be aware that this limits somewhat my artistic options, as I work with what you send me! I'll talk to you if I think that some of the things you send may not work.
* Do you make the gift book bases/frames yourself ?Can you make them to a specific dimension?
Sorry, but although I do create every part of the gift books myself,but, as they are made from real hard back books that have been rescued from the recycling and repurposed into these wonderfully original keepsakes the sizes are somewhat limited to common book sizes ,I can add depth to a wedding gift book / to accomodate larger mementos by stacking one book on top of another but of course this adds to the weight and therefore the shipping costs .I do come across over dimension books on occasion and do save them for special projects so it is always worth inquiring
