While the sides of your lid are drying cover the plastic base with its  printed pattern cut out pieces
Take one of the several circular lid pieces you cut from the card earlier and your largest circular patterned piece finge it ,glue and fold onto cardboard circle  this will be the top of your lid, glue into place .
Add one of the remaining circular pattern pieces to the inside of your lid. Check lid for fit on base, unless extremely tight you should have room to add a thin piece of pattern strip to the inside walls of the lid, that probably look a little messy, this will neaten them up . If when you checked the lid for fit on base,  you found you had too much play for your liking ,you can at this point lessen the gap by adding a couple of strips of paper to inside walls of the lid.
You should now have a completed covered trinket box ready for decoration , decorate it however and with what ever you please. As mine is part of a St Patrick's Day trio of tutorials I am obviously carrying on that theme I used left over shamrock leaves from the original greeting card printout pattern ,I also used up left over quilled shamrock pieces and heart pieces from card project, the only decorative items I made just for this gift box were some little fringed flowers that I showed you how to make in the Shamrock brooch tutorial. Apart from cuting and covering an extra circle gluing only half of it to the top of box bending up the other half  so it appears shamrocks are spilling from box. If you decide to copy this embellishment I advise that you use a straight edge and some kind of clamp to hold down glued half of circle to lid.
